Atlas belongs to Grace who will train and compete her in Show Jumping & Halter but also use her in the pony club!
We searched long and hard before ending up at the sales at The Jewel Stables, the both of us trawling the internet and viewing horses to no success. Grace had circled about 10 horses she was interested in which was then narrowed down to three to try. The first was an absolute mare (literally) and was difficult to handle which put Grace off due to having Hannibal her ride on Equus to deal with, the second was ok in Grace's words but she felt like they just didn't gel and lastly well once Grace set eyes on her it was love at first site! Atlas seemed besotted with Grace too and that was that after Grace tried her out she wasn't leaving without her! 
Atlas is that loving mare that loves fuss and attention; she has that personality that many love. Atlas will do anything for her owner and others. She is known for her beautiful coat and sweet funny personality; she will open her stall door and turn herself out! She has been training basically but like any young horse is still green and can have moments where she is spooked by something. 
Atlas originally came from a wealthy family whose home was for their daughter to compete and help train her. The daughter lost interest in horses when she realized she had to put in the hard work and soon left for college. The family decided it would be best to sell Atlas on, where she ended up at The Jewel Stables and well the rest is history!
