Chestnut is another horse from Erin Cookie where we were lucky enough to win him in a raffle. We are so glad as he is a very handsome boy though we may have our hands full with him but can't resist a challenge! He was extremely happy when turned out in the field and whizzed round stretching his legs. He has been assigned to Flora Mckay and he will compete in Show Jumping.
Though Chestnut wasn't happy with the horse turned out next door, he did keep charging at the fences with his ears back looking rather unimpressed with his neighbor!
He can be spicy, but is an absolute darling (as long as you have treats in your pockets) but he can be difficult under saddle if you're inexperienced, once you show him who's boss, he's much nicer and pleasant.
