HLEC Kit Kat arrived to us later in life than when we normally bring horses in - aged 3-4 if we are buying, she arrived when she was 9 years old. The great thing about that was that she was already pre-trained and new a lot of what she was asked so we could just assign her rider to her and they could crack on getting her competition ready and out competing. She's proven herself to be a star in the ring and gained points quickly and she sure does have moves!
