WPW Silk Chiffon, affectionately known as Velvet, is a striking 4-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare standing at 16.2hh. With her rare rose grey tobiano coat and electric presence, she’s the kind of horse who commands attention the moment she enters the ring. Velvet joined us from Puck Cantrell and has quickly become one of the most unforgettable personalities in our barn.

Don’t let her beauty fool you—Velvet is a powerhouse of strength, sass, and raw talent. She’s built for big fences and bold courses, with a natural athleticism that makes her shine in the Show Jumping and Puissance arenas. But she’s also known for her fiery streak; she’s not a mare who suffers fools lightly and expects her rider to be just as sharp and brave as she is. While she’ll clear the jump without question, she won’t hesitate to leave you behind if you’re not up to her level.

Velvet is now partnered with Eloise, our talented new rider who shares her grit and ambition. Together, they’re forming a bold and dynamic team with big goals in the competitive jumping scene. Over time, Velvet will join the small herd of mares assigned to Eloise for turnout and bonding, building both her physical and mental foundation in a supportive setting.
