Sunny Creeks

We are thrilled to welcome GGR Niebla — affectionately known as Misty — to the Sunny Creeks team. This striking dapple-grey Andalusian mare arrived recently from Sophie Finster, and it’s safe to say she’s already turned a few heads. With her soft, inquisitive eyes and graceful way of moving, she embodies everything we love about the breed — beauty, balance, and a quiet kind of strength.

At just five years old, Misty has already shown herself to be both intelligent and sensitive. She’s a thinker — the type who likes to take her time, watch, and understand before giving her full trust. Once she decides you’re worth it, though, she’s all heart: eager to please, steady, and incredibly willing. Under saddle, she’s light-footed and expressive, showing natural cadence and promise for both Dressage and Classical Dressage, with the potential to try her hand at Working Equitation in the future.

For now, Misty is settling into her new routine and beginning the early stages of her training here at Sunny Creeks. She’s proving to be a quick learner, and we’re excited to see her blossom as her confidence grows. There’s something quietly special about this mare — a calm determination beneath her soft exterior — and we have no doubt she’ll be a star in the ring before long.
