Sunny Creeks

Penny holds a very special place in our hearts — the second foal from our beloved homebred mare SC Dear Lottie, and sired by Dārōñe‘s Perfect Bet, a striking and kind Eventing stallion whose unique coloring first caught our eye. Carefully raised under the watchful care of breeder Clarissa Mallinkroth, Penny has recently come home to us now that she’s turned four, and we couldn’t be more excited for her future.

Just like her dam, Penny is sweet-natured, affectionate, and tries her heart out for her people. From her sire, she’s inherited a playful, willing spirit and an eagerness to please. She’s a beautiful blend of both parents: soft and gentle, yet full of energy and focus when asked to work. Her natural speed and athleticism hint at real Eventing potential, though her first steps into the show world will be through Show Jumping alongside rider Eloise Rudd.

Already forming fast friendships in the pasture, Penny shows a sense of humor and a spark that lights up the yard. We are incredibly proud to have her carrying on her dam’s legacy and can't wait to see her grow into the star we know she can be.
