Sunny Creeks

Ghost's Idaya is a 4-year-old minimal chestnut tobiano Dutch Warmblood mare standing at 16.2hh. She holds a special place in our hearts as the first foal we kept from our treasured homebred mare SC Dear Lottie, making her a proud third-generation member of our breeding program. With a dam who has achieved great success in the Show Jumping arena, and a sire in BDG Helios from Rachel Silverwood’s stable, Idaya boasts promising lineage and all the potential to shine in the ring.

Idaya is currently in the early stages of her training under saddle and is showing steady progress. While she can be a bit spicy and opinionated, she’s also intelligent and quick to learn—traits we believe will serve her well as she grows in confidence and ability. She’s not yet out on the circuit, but we’re in the process of registering her with clubs that offer lower-level classes to gradually introduce her to competition life.

She’s a sensitive soul who can be a little reactive, but with patience and consistency, she’s proving herself more and more each day. We’re excited to see her continue developing and eventually follow in her dam’s hoofprints in the Show Jumping ring.
